This twelve week course, facilitated by Richard Cox, is based upon Tim Freke’s 2002 book, In the Light of Death: Spiritual Insight to Help You Live with Death and Bereavement. It is intended to introduce participants to the variety of ways spirituality speaks to death, drawing on both timeless philosophical wisdom and modern scientific research. There is a strong emphasis on facilitating participants coming into their own authentic connection with mortality. It is the cultivation of this authenticity that provides the strongest foundation to reach out and support others.
